Take a walk around the Botanic Garden with the former Director, Professor Parker, as your guide. You will hear how the vision of its charismatic founder, John Henslow, influenced the shape that the garden took, and how this vision was passed on to his student, Charles Darwin.
The walk takes between 30 and 45 minutes.
“Henslow was launching Darwin not only on the Beagle but on his intellectual life.”
Professor Parker
